Move over Pumpkin Spice, it's time for Maple Season!

antioxidant autumn diy fall maple recipe sally's baking addiction sugar scrub

Now that we've all had our fill of pumpkin spice everything it's time for one of my favorite fall flavors - maple! Did you know that maple (only Grade B is worthy) has up to 63 antioxidants and has high levels of zinc and manganese?*

We know that maple syrup is amazing on everyone's favorite brunch dishes but what about in your beauty routine?

Here is a delicious fall scrub (for face or body) that will leave your skin baby soft:

Maple Sugar Scrub

Maple Sugar Scrub Recipe

•1 tablespoon of organic, greek yogurt
•1 teaspoon of 100% maple syrup (Grade B only)
•1-2 tablespoons of organic sugar (use only fine granules for face)
•1-2 squirts of organic liquid castile soap (optional)

Directions: Mix all ingredients in a small bowl.

How to Use: Apply to moist skin and gently massage into the skin, avoiding the eye area. Can be used on face or body. Only use fine sugar granules for facial scrubs. Leave on for five to 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Can be used 3-5x per week.

And here's a great, clean recipe for those who also want to eat their antioxidants:
