Policies

We strive to provide excellent customer service to you every time you place an order with San Diego Bath and Body Co. We want you to feel satisfied with the products and services we offer; therefore, we have outlined the following order information so that our staff can provide you with the same superior Customer Care every time.

BUSINESS DAYS
Monday - Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

PROCESSING TIME
Orders received between Monday and Friday will be processed the same day or by the end of the next business day. Orders received on Saturday and Sunday are processed by the following Monday.

CANADA
Orders shipping to Canada are processed and shipped within 2 - 4 business days. Please expect delivery within 7 - 14 business days from ship date. We will not forward packages to Canada without a valid phone number. Local taxes and custom duties are the responsibility of the customer.  Please check with your local customs office for details on how these charges are assessed and applied. Packages that are returned due to unpaid duties and customs will be charged an additional shipping fee.

ALASKA, HAWAII, US TERRITORIES
All orders shipping to these locations must be delivered via UPS 2nd Day Air. There is an additional $8.00 charge.

P.O. BOXES AND APO/AFO ADDRESSES
Orders being sent to P.O. Boxes or Military APO/AFO addresses must be shipped via the United States Postal Service. Priority delivery options are not available.

INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS
At this time, orders can only be billed or shipped to United States, its territories and Canada. We apologize for any inconvenience. We hope to expand our shipping options in the near future.

DAMAGES
Damage or loss incurred during shipment is the delivery company's responsibility. Claims must be properly filed with the delivering carrier. Although the addressee must initiate damage claims against the shipper, we will be happy to assist you.

ALL PURCHASES ARE SUBJECT TO BANK AUTHORIZATION PRIOR TO PROCESSING. ONLY AUTHORIZED PURCHASES WILL BE PROCESSED AND SHIPPED. IF YOUR ORDER CANNOT BE PROCESSED, AN EMAIL NOTIFICATION WILL BE SENT.

SALES TAX
State laws require that we charge applicable sales tax on orders shipped to addresses in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, NC, NE, NV, NJ, NM, NY, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV, WI, and WY.
We do not charge sales tax on the purchase of Online eGift Certificates. Items paid for with Online Gift Certificates will be taxed if shipped to addresses in the states listed above.

ONLINE eGIFT CERTIFICATES

Online eGift Certificates are delivered via email. The sender's name and email address are included for the recipient.  Sending an Online eGift Certificate via email is free of charge.


PRODUCT RETURN POLICY
Your satisfaction with our products is of greatest importance to us. Please be aware that all sales are final and are not subject to return. Please be sure of your purchase prior to completing your order. If your package arrives damaged or if you receive an incorrect item your claim must be received within 7 calendar days from the date you receive your order.
We do not refund shipping costs under any circumstances. We will provide an exchange only on full size products which spoil prematurely or are somehow otherwise defective. If you wish to return a defective product please email us. You can reach us at info@sdbathbody.com.
We will replace items that were damaged in shipping except for bath bombs which may break, but this will not affect their usage. We make every effort to avoid breakage. We cannot be held responsible for shipping delays with the carrier and cannot reimburse for shipping expenses. We do not issue refunds for any reason unless the product spoiled prematurely or was somehow otherwise defective.

If you are returning a package please use an insured and pre-paid method (we recommend UPS or FEDEX). Include your packing slip (or a note with your invoice number) and your reason for return.

Sorry, shipping and handling fees are not refundable on returns.

NO CASH REFUNDS.

Always keep all essential oils and San Diego Bath and Body Company products out of the reach of children. If redness, burning, itching or irritation occurs, stop using product immediately and consult your medical provider.

If you are pregnant or nursing a baby, have heart disease, epilepsy, high blood pressure or diabetes, seek the advice of a health professional before using any essential oils or San Diego Bath and Body Company products.

Please test all skin products before using! Apply a small amount to the skin on your inner arm. Do not use if redness or irritation occurs.

INGREDIENTS POLICY

San Diego Bath and Body Company uses only natural ingredients in all of our products. Because of the nature of our products, some natural separation may occur. Stir or shake product before each use.

ABOUT OUR PRESERVATIVES

San Diego Bath and Body Company uses only natural ingredients in all of our products. You will not find synthetic ingredients or synthetic preservatives. Because there are only natural preservatives (Vitamin E, Raw Honey, Essential Oils, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Rosemary Extract or Wheat Germ Oil) in our skin care, products are made fresh in small batches. Please be advised, our creams and lotions have a shelf life of 8 - 12 months. Please refrigerate any unused lotions or creams after 3 months.
